This morning's coffee love. ❤️ Yesterday was National Coffee Day, and I forgot to share this story. "The party took place in the garden of the Forest Hills home of Dr. Duroseau and Claude, and the guests were all Black or Latino except for one person. "According to the lawsuit, as the party was coming to an end, a white woman walked into the Duroseau home uninvited with a “large, menacing German Shepherd” and demanded they turn the music down.... I stole this from @goldengateblond because it's hilarious. "There are people who would call these “microaggressions,” and I want all of us to stop using that word because it minimizes the impact of these things when they happen, and because they happen so frequently, they are no longer “micro.” They are macro AF. This morning when I got to the Starbucks drive thru, some lady was being obnoxious and holding up the line complaining about to their lack of vegan options as it the hourly employees on the early morning shift could do anything about it, so I made sure to give my girlies some love when it was my turn because they didn't deserve that. Tyler Perry said he knows couples where the woman makes significantly more money than the man, and they are fine with it. My morning so far: New bullet journaling supplies from @yourzicoto!

I am super proud to be a member of Gen X

Link

Generation X created the culture. When you look back at all facets of our culture including fashion, music, movies, television and the like, a great deal of it came from the minds of Generation X or was pushed to the forefront by our generation during our youth.

Storytelling is a revolutionary act

Standard

Storytelling is revolutionary act because in the face of propaganda campaigns that label the truth as dangerous, those of us who continue speaking out and telling the stories of what actually happened do so at our own risk.
