November showed up in Los Angeles today, but she forgot to bring her homegirl fall with her. 

This is not a complaint; it’s just an observation. 

We are still having summer weather right now. When I think back on it, I feel like I have been wearing shorts for most of the year. We don’t necessarily get seasons in L.A. the same way the rest of the country does, but we do experience some temperature changes and a bit of rain. 

Right now, it feels like it’s been hot for months, and again, it’s not a complaint; it’s an observation.

Do you have a personal (we)blog?

I wrote my very first piece for The Verge, and I am super excited because it’s about something near and dear to my heart: personal blogging.

I have had a blog or online journal in some form since the late 90s. I started on Geocities, migrated to Blogger, taught myself to configure Greymatter, Movable Type, and WordPress, and I used all the other sites like Typepad, livejournal, tumblr, Vox (before it became the site it is now, it was a blogging platform similar to what tumblr is now)) and everything in between.

The point is, I’m not new to this; I’m true to this.
